During discussions on the update of the Military Programming Law [LPM] 2024-30, lawmakers adopted an amendment requesting a feasibility study to potentially equip the next-generation nuclear aircraft carrier “La France Libre” with domestically designed electromagnetic catapults [EMALS] instead of those provided by American manufacturers.

Boeing has officially withdrawn from the bidding process issued by the US Navy for the replacement of the T-45C Goshawk training aircraft.
