In accordance with the 2026 finance law, the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) has placed an order for the fifth and potentially final Defense and Intervention Frigate (FDI) from Naval Group. This announcement was made by the Ministry of Armed Forces in a statement released on April 2. The ship is set to be named “Amiral Cabanier.”
