In 2021, MBDA was entrusted by the Italian Ministry of Defence to develop a new version of the anti-ship missile Teseo MK2/A, which has been in use by the Marina Militare since 2007. Clearly, the Italian branch of the company did not waste any time. Indeed, three years later, MBDA successfully commenced the production of the new Teseo MK2/E missile.
