On March 2, during his speech on “advanced” deterrence at Île-Longue, the French President announced not only the expansion of the French nuclear arsenal but also revealed the name of the next class of nuclear ballistic missile submarines (SNLE) that will be part of the Strategic Oceanic Force (FOST).
The upcoming nuclear ballistic missile submarine of the French Navy will be named the Invincible.
