Shortly after the signing of the Lancaster House agreements in November 2010, France and the United Kingdom announced a €600 million contract with MBDA to develop the Lightweight Anti-Ship Missile (ANL), designed to replace the British Sea Skua and the French AS-15 TT. The ANL, also known as Sea Venom in the UK, has achieved its initial operational capability.
