Navy Revives Electromagnetic Cannon Project for Future Warfare

In December, the U.S. administration announced plans to construct twenty to twenty-five battleships, each weighing at least 30,000 tons. These advanced vessels will feature, among other capabilities, 140 vertical launch system cells, including 128 Mk.41 cells, hypersonic missiles, nuclear-capable cruise missiles, two 127 mm guns, and laser systems.
