As the strategic sea-to-ground ballistic missile M51.3 has recently been officially inducted into service, a Rafale Marine successfully conducted an evaluation launch of the upgraded ASMPA-R (Air Sol Moyenne Portée Amélioré – Rénové) nuclear-capable cruise missile during Operation Diomède on November 13. This test was performed without the missile’s military payload.
