According to the Annual Performance Plan (APP) for the program 146 “Equipment of the Forces,” attached to the 2026 finance bill, the next-generation aircraft carrier (PANG) is indeed set to be equipped with a third electromagnetic catapult (EMALS – ElectroMagnetic Aircraft Launching System). Developed by General Atomics for the class of aircraft carriers, this system represents a significant advancement in naval aviation technology.
