According to the Military Programming Law [LPM] 2024-30, two studies regarding the potential acquisition of two aircraft carriers for the Navy are to be submitted to Parliament by 2028. The first study aims to estimate “the funding required for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a second next-generation aircraft carrier [PA NG].”
